Pipeline
Track a contact as a sales deal on a board, and move it between stages as the conversation progresses.
What the pipeline is for
The Contacts list is everyone. The Pipeline is the subset you are actively trying to sell to, shown as cards on a kanban board — columns are stages, and you drag a card right as the deal advances.
It answers "who is close to buying, and what's the next step?" — questions a flat contact list can't.
Working the board
Add a lead
Sidebar → 📈 Pipeline → ➕ New Lead. Pick the contact, give the deal a title (e.g. SEO package — 6 months), and optionally a value in rupees.
The contact must already exist in Contacts. The lead is a layer on top of them, not a separate person.
Move it between stages
Drag the card from one column to the next as things happen — a reply received, a quote sent, a payment link opened.
Let a stage change trigger a bot
A chatbot can use “Pipeline stage” as its trigger — so dropping a card into, say, Quote sent automatically fires a follow-up message flow. This connects your manual board to real messages.
You don't need the pipeline to run campaigns. Use it if you do consultative or higher-value selling where each customer needs individual follow-up; skip it if you mostly do broadcast promotions.
