WhatsApp marketing with WA Suite
What every feature does, the WhatsApp rules behind them, and step-by-step guides for getting your first campaign out the door.
The big picture
WA Suite lets your business send and receive messages on the official WhatsApp Business Platform — the API version of WhatsApp built for companies, not the green consumer app on your phone. Because it is the official platform, WhatsApp sets the rules: you can only send marketing messages to people who opted in, bulk messages must use a pre-approved template, and free-form replies are only allowed for 24 hours after the customer last messaged you.
Everything in WA Suite is built around those three rules. Here is the flow almost every account follows:
New here? Follow the Getting started guide — it walks the whole flow above in order. Then come back and dig into whichever feature you need.
Every feature, one line each
Audience
Your customer list, their opt-in status, tags, and any extra data you want to track and target on.
Track a contact as a sales deal on a drag-and-drop board as it moves from lead to won.
Campaigns
Pre-written messages — header, body, buttons, variables — that Meta approves before you can bulk-send them.
Send one template to a chosen audience. Save audiences as reusable segments.
Short links that count clicks, so you know which campaign actually drove traffic.
Conversations
A team inbox for every WhatsApp thread, with assignment, canned replies, internal notes and the 24-hour window shown per contact.
A visual flow builder — trigger keyword, menus, branching, actions — that replies without a human.
Rules that fire on CRM events — a tag added, or a contact going quiet — to send a template or reassign a chat.
Account & setup
Plug in your own Gupshup credentials so sends come from your business, not the shared test number.
Add teammates as admin, manager or staff, and control what each can see and do.
Plans, the monthly message cap, Razorpay payment and GST invoices.
